OFFICERS President Bio: Monte has been an active member of the association for many years. She started as a building representative and soon became involved on the executive committee serving as secretary, treasurer, vice-president and elementary at large representative. She has been to several NEA and OEA representative assemblies. Monte is a special education teacher from Earlywine. She has dedicated 33 years to teaching special education in the public school.
Vice President Bio: Tracey has been teaching special education in the public schools for 13 years. This is her second year with MPS. She currently teaches 5th and 6th grade special ed. classes at Houchin Elementary. Tracey has been involved with NEA / OEA for many years. She has served as a building representative for the past 6 years, was on the executive committee in Edmond for 1 year and served on their negotiation team for 2 years. She has attended several OEA RA, OEA Leadership Conferences and Advocacy conferences.

STAFF Office Manager Bio: Donna Russell, MACT Office Manager, has been a fixture around the MACT offices for over 35 years. She is the voice on the phone, the organizer of activities and the person at the desk whenever you drop in the office. Donna came to Moore in 1967 and has been active in MACT since 1972. She has served in many capacitied including building rep, negotiator, newspaper editor and president. After her retirement and an absence of six years, she returned in 2006 as Office Manager. |
EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE Elementary At Large Charlotte Moffatt Bio: Charlotte has 20 years of teaching experience and a Masters in Education. She has taught at Plaza Towers elementary as a Title I Reading Specialist for 16 years. She has been on the executive committee for 9 years. Krista Harrison Bio: Krista has taught 5th grade Science (and everything else except math) at Southgate for 17 years. She has served on the executive committee and been a member of the negotiations team for 6 years. She has attended OEA RA, NEA RA, Western Region Leadership Conference, OEA Leadership Conference and Advocacy conferences. Secondary At Large James Robb Bio: James has been teaching for 11 years, all with Moore Public Schools. He teaches Science at Brink Junior High. He has been a building representative for 7 years. Sarah Hunnicutt Bio: Sarah has taught English for 14 years (in the USA and in South Korea). She is starting her 5th year in the district at Moore High School. Currently, Sarah teaches junior English and AP Language. This is her first year to be on the negotiation team, which continues to be a rewarding learning experience for her. This is her second year on the executive committee and she really enjoys being a part of our association. She is extremely glad to have been elected to go to the NEA RA this year. She learned so much and hopes to attend every year! At this years NEA RA she was elected to be the Regional Director of the West for the NEA Peace and Justice Caucus. Outside of school she is the co-treasurer of her Kappa Kappa Iota Conclave and she volunteers for the YWCA when she has time. OKCA Zone Director Jill Dudley Bio: Coming Soon OEA Advocate Pam Westbrook Bio: Pam Westbrook, OEA Advocacy Specialist, works with OEA members in Oklahoma County, Moore & Norman. She has been with OEA for 23 years. Prior to that she was an English teacher at Central Junior High for 15 years and was president of MACT in 1986-1987. |
